A Bit About Me
I was a Professional Dancer in Carlos Acosta's company, Acosta
Danza. Began ballet training aged 4, progressing to the elementary and middle schools of the Cuban National Ballet and ultimately graduating top
of my class. In 2010 Competed in the International Competition in Havana,
winning silver for pas de deux. Was a finalist in the International Ballet Competition, Cape Town, 2010. Awarded one of the few contracts in the Cuban
National Ballet Company of the National Ballet of Cuba and, between 2010 and 2015, interpreted soloist roles in the Nutcracker (Spanish dance), 'Magissimo', La Leyenda de la gran agua' (Flora), Shakespeare and his Masks (Tula), Paintings of an Exhibition, Improntu Lecuona and other neoclassical pieces, as well as corps de ballet roles in Giselle, Swan Lake, Quixote, Fille mal gardée, La Sylphide, Coopelia,
Paquita, Nutcracker. At Acosta Danza, danced in the classical program that toured in Abu Dhabi, the UK and Hong Kong, including the Act Il pas de deux from Swan Lake and The Dying Swan. Interpreted principal roles in Carlos Acosta's Farewell performance at the Royal Albert Hall, including Scheherazade pas de deux and contemporary piece "Anadromous". At the premiere of the company in Cuba, danced the role of Carmen. Went on to interpret pieces such as Rooster by Christopher Bruce; Belle Letters by Justin Parker; Impronta and Niyinski by Maria
Rovira; Around there is nothing by Goyo Montero; Twelve by Jorge Cresis; A thousand years after Saburo Techikawuara; and From tip to tip Macarela, and others. I also danced in the choreography by Juliano Nunes”Mundo interpreted, in the duet"Soledad " by Rafael Bonachela and Paysage soudain la nuit and others.
I have been a teacher at the San Antonio Ballet school for three years. I have created award-winning classical and contemporary choreographies for national competitions.

Danza. During my time with Acosta Danza, I had the privilege of showcasing my artistry on prestigious stages around the globe. As part of the classical program, I embarked on a transformative journey, captivating audiences in Abu Dhabi, the UK, and Hong Kong with breathtaking performances. Among the highlights were my interpretation of the Act II pas de deux from Swan Lake and the poignant portrayal of The Dying Swan, both of which left an indelible impression on audiences.
In a monumental moment, I took center stage in Carlos Acosta's Farewell performance at the iconic Royal Albert Hall, where I had the honor of dancing principal roles, including the spellbinding Scheherazade pas de deux and the emotionally charged contemporary piece "Anadromous". Additionally, I made my mark during the company's premiere in Cuba, embodying the complex character of Carmen with depth and passion.
Throughout my tenure, I delved into a diverse repertoire of works, each presenting its own unique challenges and opportunities for artistic expression. From the dynamic energy of Christopher Bruce's Rooster to the lyrical beauty of Justin Parker's Belle Letters, I embraced every role with dedication and nuance. Works such as Maria Rovira's Impronta and Nijinsky, Goyo Montero's Around There Is Nothing, and Jorge Cresis's Twelve provided me with platforms to explore the depths of movement and emotion.
Moreover, I had the pleasure of collaborating with esteemed choreographers such as Juliano Nunes, interpreting his compelling work "Mundo", as well as showcasing my versatility in duets like "Soledad" by Rafael Bonachela. Additionally, I graced the stage in evocative pieces like "Paysage Soudain La Nuit" and others, contributing to the rich tapestry of dance with each performance.
My dedication and artistry propelled me to become a finalist in the esteemed International Ballet Competition held in Cape Town during 2010.
Following these remarkable achievements, I was honored to receive one of the coveted contracts with the renowned Cuban National Ballet Company of the National Ballet of Cuba. From 2010 to 2015, I graced the stage with my presence, portraying soloist roles in iconic productions such as the Nutcracker (as the Spanish dance), 'Magissimo', and 'La Leyenda de la gran agua' (as Flora). I also brought characters to life in productions like 'Shakespeare and his Masks' (as Tula), 'Paintings of an Exhibition', 'Impromptu Lecuona', and various neoclassical pieces.
Moreover, I had the privilege of showcasing my versatility by seamlessly transitioning into corps de ballet roles in beloved classics such as Giselle, Swan Lake, Quixote, Fille mal gardée, La Sylphide, Coopelia, Paquita, and Nutcracker. These experiences have shaped me as an artist and have left an indelible mark on my journey in the world of dance.
