Welcome to Universe Dance School! As we embark on this journey together, it's important for us to establish guidelines that promote a positive and productive learning environment for all students. Our policies are designed to ensure the safety, well-being, and success of every individual who walks through our doors.

School Policies

Uniform Policy

For academic year classes, students will be required to wear the school uniform, which will be differentiated by levels. Information on how to acquire the uniform will be provided later.

Dress Code

At Universe Dance School, we believe that proper attire is essential for a successful dance experience. To maintain a professional and focused learning environment, all students are required to adhere to the following dress code during classes:

For Girls:

Leotard
Ballet tights
Ballet skirts (optional)
Ballet shoes (pre-primary to level 1, and pointe shoes additionally for students from level 2 to level 3)
Exercise mats for conditioning classes are required.

For Boys:

Black or white pullover (preferably)
Long white or black socks, worn over black leggings or pants
Exercise mats for conditioning classes are required.

Performance and Level Promotion

Students must attend 80% of classes to participate in the June Showcase and to be promoted to the next level. Students must have a zero balance in their account in order to perform.

General Guidelines:

Hair should be neatly tied back.
No jewelry other than small stud earrings is permitted.
Students should arrive promptly and prepared for class.
